TOP HAT

You will need: Thin black card, Yellow paper, Ribbon, Long strip of white card.

1. Wrap the strip of white card around your head. Tape down the place where it overlaps. This band will show the size of your head.

2. Put the band onto the black card and tape it down. Draw around the inside . Measure 5cm out from the band and draw a circle around the edge.

3. Cut out a long length of black card approx. 16cm tall. Roll it up to fit inside the brim and tape everything together.

4. Stick the ribbon around the bottom of the hat to hide the joints. Tuck a bit of yellow paper under the ribbon to give it the final touch.
